Executive Director
As Interim Executive Director, Ms. Smith is responsible for the oversight of all NACCRRA's programs to include Quality Initiative and Fee Assistance programs and is the lead for NACCRRA's redesign of the automated subsidy system. Prior to her assignment as the Deputy, she was the Chief of National Programs. Ms. Smith joined NACCRRA in October 2003 as the Director of Operations.
Prior to joining NACCRRA, Ms. Smith worked more than 30 years with the Department of Defense (DoD). She spent 20 years designing and developing automated logistics systems for the United States Navy and has 10 years of experience in military family support. Ms. Smith also has experience as a DoD contracting officer. Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from National- Louis University.
